two tuners, intrusive recording

My wife reports that she will be watching one channel (say 4_1) when a programmed recording starts up on another channel (say 7_1). The system has two tuners, and up to this point the second has been idle. Mythtv usually asks if she wants to watch the recording that is just starting. She tells me that other times it just swaps her over to the recording channel. Where are the controls for this? Ideally if she is interactively using one tuner the background recording of another channel by the other tuner should not put up a notification. As for the automatic switching, I am guessing that this may be happening when she somehow manages to get both tuners going at once, without being aware of it, and a recording starts. However, she swears that it has happened when only one channel was active.

Setting>TV Settings>General

Probably use both "Avoid conflicts between live TV and scheduled shows" and "Allow LiveTV to move scheduled shows", but definitely the latter.
