Hi folks,

I'm looking for something that will let me set up a filter to replace requests for a specific URL with another. I'd hoped this would be easy to do, but I don't know if I'm just searching for the wrong thing or what.

At first I thought Wireshark might be able to do it, but then realized that maybe Squid or another proxy might work. I didn't see anything real obvious when looking through the Squid pages, other than writing an extension myself, but I could have missed something.

I want to intercept a request on my own machine for a particular file and respond with my own version. If there was a plugin for Firefox even that could do this, that would work (I have been using Tamper Data but it doesn't seem to do it).

Thanks.
