I am trying to make sure that ubuntu server 8.10 does not auto mount. I am using it as a live cd to make dd images and I want to ensure that my source drive is mounted read only. Is there a way to mount everything as ro and then just manually change it or a way to just ensure that everything must be manually mounted? I looked all over and the issue is always reversed. Thought I could figure it out but I want to make sure.
I don't care if it is not pretty and auto mount will not work anymore. I don't need it for this.
