I get the same error. I was not searching from a search box, but rather selecting "view all posts by this user" in my profile.

Yeah...same prob here. I was trying to search the Howtos forum

"This forum requires that you wait 15 seconds between searches. Please try again in 15257 seconds."

any word from the mods an if this is an actual bug or something set in place to minimize board down time?

I see in another post that a mod chimed in, but offered nothing in the form of we are aware of the problem, or we are working on it, or well you get the idea.

I first had to answer all the messages I received about it first.

It's somewhat of a slippery little bug somewhere... because it's only a few users - quite random as I can tell so far.

I haven't been able to nail down just why some people are getting that error and others are not... but hey, this is what happens when you do upgrades and bug fixes.
