Hello Everyone!

I've just switched over to Ubuntu and I'm a first time user. I've done a few investigations into why I cannot possibly get my displays to be anything but mirrored.

I tried expanding the virtual resolution size in the xconf file. No luck there. I've also run hardware driver searches and installations a few times and the only that comes up is the driver for my wireless card which appears to be working flawlessly (or else we wouldn't be talking right now).

I'm really at a dead end with this unless anybody can point me in the right direction. I'm still not too entirely solid on how to even install drivers after I get them though unless they're in an automated installer!

I know my system is a Compaq Presario 2100. I believe the Model is a 2108US. Thanks for your help!
