I have a Dell Inspiron B130 and my CD drive has died recently...
I've been looking though my options, buying a new CD/DVD writing drive or (since I don't burn discs often) buying some other accessory that would fit in that slot. I searched on Google and found that there are some battery packs designed to fit into the system modular bay, but none of them seem to list the Inspiron B130 as compatible.

I'm wondering if it will still work, because there are other Inspiron models on the list, I would thinks so. I'll post links to what I've found.

If there are any other cool things that you know of like solid state drives or cooling fans that fit in there, please let me know. ;)

:( I think I'm laying this thread to rest... Ducktape is a good substitute, and my laptop is lighter too!
