I have recently been experiencing computer problems. I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 running Ubuntu Jaunty Jackolope 9.04. I cannot boot - I suspect this is because of many consecutive hard resets due to a power management bug that sleeps and doesn't let it wake. I have booted in recovery mode and have updated grub and system packages and tried maintenance. When I try to boot normally the screen shows colors, flashes a few times and stays like that. Sometimes it just goes black. Please help me-I have important files there.
