Keyboard scrollwheel driver?

I'm trying to find a keyboard driver for my Trust Easyscroll Silverline keyboard which will let me programme the scrollwheel and buttons on the left which are helpful.
Ubuntu keyboard shortcuts work fine for audio player and OOffice apps but can't find option to activate scrollwheel which also has useful text entry function when pressed.

Any pointers would be gratefully received!

I have ubuntu 9.04, up to date on July 7th.

I don't have that keyboard with me.
