The Tutorials and Tips section of the forum differs from other areas, because threads posted here must first be approved by the staff.

Please be patient.

A moderator team reviews submissions, and approves at intervals.

If it is still absent in a week, ask again.

I've been wondering the same. I posted in Tutorial & Tips more than 8 hours ago and still can't find it.

Is there a way to check the status? I'm not even sure if my post was successfully submitted or not.

You howto is in the moderation queue, we should let you know in a couple of days.

I posted one a while back, and thought that I would get a subscription notice or some sort of response when it was approved...That wasn't the case. I found it by searching for it a couple of days later.

We'll typically add a reply to your thread stating that it was approved. If you subscribe to your threads, you should get a notification.

We used to have an automated system for notifying people of thread actions (move/approve/close/etc), but it was disabled due to server issues methinks.

I check the queue usually every other day for tutorials. Sometimes there are a lot of posts, though, so it might not all be completed at once.

Guys, come on... Two days and its still waiting in the queue? This might turn people off from posting tutorials guys.

It's kpkeerthi's. I think I'll go through the queue in about an hour or so after I make some delicious grilled cheese. :D

Two things have happened in the past hour:

Tutorials & Tips queue is now empty. Yay! (3-day backlog, sorry for those who were waiting.)
I discovered that grilled cheese is much better cooked on a bigger frying pan. Much more even and tastier. Bacon bits top it off for a delicious quick dinner.
