Screensaver or screen blanker

I have a Sharp HDTV. I've written a script tied to the remote with irexec that runs on the tv through the RS232 port and it starts the frontend. I had to add a sleep command in the script to keep it from starting the frontend too quickly thus the screen would come up black. Now the problem I have is when the TV is off for to long I ended up with this screen and I have no idea where this setting is even coming from. I looked in the gnome-screensaver and this image isn't even an option.

Does anyone know where this is coming from and how can I turn this off?
