I tried hooking my Dell Mini9 up to my Panasonic Viera. I was successful in getting the thing to recognize the TV as a display source but when I ran the frontend and ran livetv, all that showed up was a green screen.

I played with the playback settings for a while but was unsuccessful in making it work. I unhooked the Mini from the TV and ran the frontend again, and the same thing happened. Just a green screen. I switched back to all the settings I had for play back before I hooked it up the the TV, and still got a green screen.

Update.

The problem is not isolated to just MythTV. Anytime I try to play video with VLC or mplayer the program just crashes. Web video is unaffected. What log could I view to see the errors occuring when I try and watch video?
