battery life of m1330

Hi - I have an XPS m1330 and I'm only getting about 45 minutes out of the battery before it has to be charged.

Is this normal?? Or do I need to make some changes?

Ubuntu 9.04
Intel Core2 Duo CPU
T5550 1.83GHz
3.4 GB RAM

how many cells is your battery? and how old is your laptop battery. Your battery is probably failing if all you are getting is 45 minutes.
