Hi!
I managed to install Descent3 to my Ubuntu at last. Is there any dedicated servers for Descent 3? Or is anyone willing to put it up? http://www.parallaxonline.com seems to be down. Nettest tells:Outrage Entertainment Descent 3 network tester (Version 2.0 (OEM))
'nettest --help' for usage information

Unable to bind UDP socket on port 2092.
Error code: 98
Can't initialize UDP socket on port 2092!
I have opened that port on Firestarter firewall.

as soon as I find out how to install it.

this is what I get


link@family:~$ sudo mount /mnt/cdrom
mount: can't find /mnt/cdrom in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab

any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, where do you get this game? the website had links to ebay and loki, neither of which have the linux version. I played descent 2 a long time ago, and i loved it, but i got stuck on one of the levels, this boss was impossible to beat

I dont know where, maybye Ebay?
I got the CD's a long time ago.
Played it all the time(not now... wont install). great game.
