Hello all :-)

I've a webserver on witch one I want to share High Q vidéos with 6-10 people.

At the moment, people can see videos with the VLC plugin but it's not easy.

So my idea was to convert all videos (avi of 30-60min) in x264 and stream it with a flash player.

But now, the convertion of the videos takes a lot of time.

All I want to do is read videos (anyway of format but with a good quality) inside of the web browser and I want to let people navigate inside the video (like Youtube).

Thanks.

P.S. : Sorry for my bad english but I've received any answer on ubuntu-fr.org so I come here :-)

Well one would be for them to use something other than VLC such as MPlayer.

Another would be to use something like Flowplayer and embed that into an HTML page once you've converted to .flv

Your third option is to, instead of having to download the flash player after converting, use the HTML 5 <video> tag. But that's still working out the kinks and has some issues and requires the latest browser but it's worth looking into
