I'm looking for some basic and big brushes for gimp. You know the ones, up to at least 300px radius, round, hard edged and soft edge. Kind of like the ones that come with ps. I was working on a photo the other day and the largest I could get the brush wasn't big enough for a full sized picture. It was such a pain in ***.

While we are on the topic of brushes, what are your favorite sites to get brushes from?

Thanks

It took me a while to find this in the Gimp...At the bottom of the brush menu, you can either edit and existing brush, or create a new brush. If you select new brush it will open a dialog with the available size/hardness/angle/feathering options. The largest you can make a brush in the Gimp is 1000px wide.

For brushes others have made, you can find lots on deviantart.com, just search for gimp brushes.

P.S. - Happy Canada Day!

Wow, that did take a lot of looking around to find it. It is not the sort of thing you accidentally stumble across. Thanks.
