So I picked up a good pc today, only the power supply is busted.

I was thinking of uses for it and thought it would be pretty neat to turn it into a media center, and I was thinking Mythbuntu would be the way to go.

So I've got a few questions I was hoping some people around here had some experience with and could answer for me.

First of all, I want to be able to play HD content on there, so an onboard graphics chip just isn't going to cut it. Are there any reccomendations on low end pci express video cards capable of playing HD content (I'm assuming HD is properly supported, ofcourse)?

Second, what's the media remote support like on Mythbuntu?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Here is one that I think you might like.

http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-01G-P3-N945-LR-GeForce-PCI-E-Graphics/dp/B001EH8FZA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=pc&qid=1246393813&sr=1-1

It is cheap and it will give you more than enough graphics power.
