i have some hotkeys(or macrokeys, dunno if this is right expression)
one for internet(works)
one for mail(works)
one for multimedia which doesnt work
and one for power-saving mode which reduces the processor speed(<-i dont risk to modify that one because the system crashed the last time i played with it)
so is there any chance i could get the multimedia key to work?

also i tried to modify them but i did some mistakes and changed a function called "show the panel's main menu"
so could you tell me which is the default shortcut?

What kind of keys are these? Are these special keyboard-specific quick-launch keys?

How did you get the other keys to work? Were they working out of the box?

Well what exactly do you want to do with the multimedia key? Maybe you could bind it to the default media player in your desktop enviroment (i.e. Amarok). I think that's what it does in Windows.

I haven't had experience with quick-launch keys in Ubuntu, but you could try setting your keyboard model and layout options from Keyboard Preferences if you haven't already done so. Also try messing around with the other tabs there.

Show the panel's main menu default shortcut is Alt+F1.
