how to install nvidia drivers on server edition?

im trying too install nvidia drivers on my server install, to play videos through, how do i do this?

i tried installing the nvidia-glx-71 package

but during boot up i getan failed error




Running DKMS auto instalationg service for kernel 2.6.28-11-server
Nvidia (71.86.08).... [fail]

edit: I have also tried other versions of the nvidia driver, but still no luck

I tried the same thing on a command line instal (not server eddition this time) and im still getting the same problem.

you can try to use EnvyNG and i installed my drivers with it.may you succeed.
