Acer Aspire Revo R3600 (R3600L) ACPI Driver

Hi,

does anyone know what driver I can use to quieten the Acer Aspire Revo R3600's fan with? It's such a new device I can't even find any details on the hardware, I might end up taking it apart to have a look.

I'd be interested in a solution to that problem as well... The fan in my Revo runs constantly at varying speeds even when idling...

OK, it's about 27°C in here but that should be ok... And the Revo is mounted on its stand, i.e. the fan hole is facing upwards.

Please anyone find a solution and explain it for a Ubuntu newbie ;)

Do you reckon, updating the BIOS might help?
