Capture Error screen

I have been fighting with Google Earth to no avail.
Each time I try to run it my system crashes and reboots.
I get a error splash screen for about 1 sec. How can I capture
the error message so I can post it here, I would like to know what
is wrong with my installation.
This is now a challenge GE was working before I did a complete re-install of Hardy.

if it is just a second then there is no way you can do much.
What you could do is take a picture from a camera and then upload it where you want it.

Or check the logs in
/var/log
and see if there is anything in there !

That is all you can do i think !

Yea it's fixed, it was a simple fixed once I pressed the correct buttons.
It was a driver issue.
I had to open up hardware drivers then I found out 3D was not selected. I checked to enable 3d, installed the driver, rebooted per instructions, presto GE now works.
