View Full Version : The 2 minute - 2 Moons ;(

I don't how but when i installed ubuntu 8.10 ( 64 bit ) and the latest Wine ( Wine 1.1.24 amd64 (http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/archive/ubuntu/intrepid/wine_1.1.24%7Ewinehq0%7Eubuntu%7E8.10-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb) ) i was able to play 2 Moons :P, but after like 3 mins ( from pressing the Start button on the launcher till the game crashes, so like 2 mins play ) running wine crashes and the game ... :( So the funny thing is that it allways chashes after exactly 3 mins ! So is there a way to fix it ? ( sory for my poor english and poor knowlege of linux and all :) )

Could you please post more about your system?

CPU Type/Speed=?
RAM=?
Graphics card=?
Graphics driver version=?

It would really help!

Well CPU - Pentium 4 duo core 3.00 GHz ; 2 GB RAM ( 4 x 512 Kingston ) ; GF 9600gt ; drivers ? BTW i tried playing the game with 9.04 and it worked for like 2:30 hours, but after i turned it off, when i try to play again - it's the same like in the 8.10 ( 3 mins and crash ;( ) !

Lol, I see! How big is the game client? I could maybe see if I have any issues.

??? OK so if i'm blocked then that's why i can play for only 3 mins ??? But why when i installed 9.04 i played for like 2 :30 hours ? And when it started crashing again i reinstalled ubuntu and i could play for more then 3 mins :) ( btw after like 30 mins i turned off the game and when i tried - well should i say more ;( ) !

I don't know where your from, so I'm not sure if this is affecting you.
