What MySQL server to use?

I'm about to install MySQL, but apt-cache search suggest about three different versions, mysql-server, mysql-common and mysql-common-4.1

Which one to use?

If you want the server, you need to install the server package. However, that doesn't look like a complete mysql package set, do you have the universe repository enabled?
