I'm copying some music files into my sansa clic player after ripping into FLAC, however some songs and a couple of albums don't get copied because of invalid file name, see screenshot, how can I sort it so.I need them files to complete my playing collection.

Try removing the : from the filename. The music player is probably using a file system that doesn't support that character.

I was thinking of a 'hidden' file', as I can see no : in my files.

I can see one in between the 11 and the 59 in "07 - 11:59.flac".

Thanks VERY much ad-267.
Isn't it easy with a little help.

I removed the : as you said from the song title 11:59 and the file was transferred seamlessly. so the : character can be anywhere in the file name, even between the title and cause a problem??

I will check the other songs that didn't drop.

Just discovered that a question mark in the title does the same, removed it and "hey presto"
