Best Ubuntu For Inspiron 1526?

Hi I was wondering whats the best version of ubuntu for my dell inspiron 1526 that will support most of the hardware without issues and support prop. Drivers too if needed. like i know jaunty has issues with older video cards such as ati's but i dont know if it applies to my laptop.

No one? you possibly tell me no one knows or even has an opinion i just want to know what the most suitable ubuntu version is for my laptop i dont believe no one has any idea or even a suggestion.

What is your hardware setup?I prefer 9.04 myself it has been the easiest yet but it all depends on what type hardware setup you have.the systems requirements have been the same for a while some more stuff has been blacklisted and some hardware is a little bit harder to install but it's about the same.

I've been running ubuntu on my inspiron 1526 since version 7.10 without any problems. Currently I'm running ubuntu jaunty 9.04.

The only problem I've experienced was to make the internal microphone work, which I solved by uninstalling pulse audio.
