Broken Wine - need reinstall

Hello,

My wine broke, and I have been trying to reinstall it. I deleted the .wine folder, and when I reinstall the program, I can access it by the terminal, but the .wine folder is not created, and nothing appears in the applications menu.

I have tried purging wine, to reinstall from scratch, as I did the first time I did this, but to no avail.

Can anyone suggest an another method?

Wine makes the folder itself if it can't find it. Try going to the teminal and running winecfg. As for the application menus you would have to add them yourself now.
