Kompozer Spontanously Crashes

I cant believe I still have this problem, I used to code my HTML/PHP etc.. with Dreamweaver and it would just close completely randomly and lose all my work with absolutely no consistency whatsoever.. completely random! 3 years later ive switched to Ubuntu and now Im working on a project of mine with Inkscape, wordpress, bluefish (for php and css) and Kompozer for HTML and to my shock and horror it has the same issue!!!!!

Ive googled it a couple of times but cant find anything helpful - anyone experiencing this?

I have recently installed the latest alpha release from the Kompozer site: http://www.kompozer.net/
...and [so far] have not experienced any problems.

KompoZer 0.7.10 is unstable with Ubuntu. Try the latest version 0.8 alpha it's more stable. The new version has views/tabs built in and spit window like Dreamweaver. Find this post: http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=7501868&postcount=6

Spontaneously crashes? It's just a way to stir up your creativity and teach you to save regularly. Self-discipline. It is still better than DreamWeaver. So spontaneous!
