smplayer jump to another workspace when start to play

It is very weird. I open double-click a video in workspace 1, and smplayer comes up and jump to workspace 2. I must switch to workspace 2 to watch it.

This is very weird and I cannot figure out why, and google says nothing about it. Can anyone give me some clue?

Check if you have a rule for smplayer on Compiz "Place Window" plugin.

I check the "place window" plugin, there is no rule there. But i change the auto place mode from "smart" to "centered", this problem seems to be gone. Maybe the "smart" mode is not that smart.

But I am not 100% sure the problem is fixed because originally it randomly appeared. for some videos smplayer jumped to workspace1 from2, for some it jumped from 1 to 2. I have also unchecked the "remember window size and position" in smplayer's preferences.

I have the same problem, it can't be solved by setting "Place Window" to Center. Still have the problem. Suggestions?

I don't have the problem when starting smplayer without playing a video. Only when it plays a video the issue exist.
