Hey everyone!
Is it possible to have a background image for the GRUB menu and custom text colors?
I tried but it seems like I cannot have both. I have to disable the background image if I want custom colors. When the image is enabled, I always get white text on a transparent background (and white text on a black background for the highlighted item), no matter what colors I specified in menu.lst…

I just found the answer (http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-newbie-8/how-to-change-grub-menu.lst-text-color-730254/page2.html?#post3562185). Too bad we cannot get rid of this stupid “dropped shadow” effect…

Actually we can (http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/amigolinux/download/AmigoProjects/AFX-GRUB/patches/menu.lst). GRUB is much more customizable than I thought.
