Courier-imap users

Hey!

I'm trying to set up a Courier imap on my server.. and I can't get the users to work properly..

I've made an user I call 'artheus' on the server, using "useradd artheus", and set a home folder to the user, and made a password using "passwd artheus"..

My servername is "myserver".. so I thought my username would be artheus on the courier.. and that would be connected to the mailadresse artheus@myserver.. right?

Or are there some other way to create users for courier?

something like samba or something? where they use "smbpasswd"..
