Can somebody please tell me what the phrase 'You are subscribed to this list' means. Could not figure it out on my own.

Sorry about that. 'Subscription' appears at the 'user control panel' page. There is also an 'unsubscribe' link, all in a box titled 'New Subscribed Threads'. Clearly it's an option that applies to threads but I just couldn't figure out what it does

when you subscribe to a thread any updates to that thread will be posted in your control panel

Note: this is not a ubuntu suport issue it is a ubuntu site issue so it should be in the 'Ubuntuforums Site Discussion' section. I have msged the mods to have it moved
