I love Windows because it comes preinstalled with viruses. Here's some:

Internet Explorer
Windows Movie Maker
Windows DVD Maker

among many other things. I never asked for them but they happened to be installed on my system, they get in the way of things, and there's no easy way to get rid of them. Doesn't that sound like a virus to you?

...i can see through them, they work all the time, and they only crash if you throw something at them or hit them really hard (That last bit is usually what fixes my computer, though).

You may receive the following error message while running Windows: STOP 0x0000007F (UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP)

CAUSE: This error message can occur if either of the following conditions exists...

* Your computer has hardware or software problems

THAT'S why.

That's an actual quote from the Microsoft Help and Support website.

the more people i show ubuntu too, the more that cant wait to get rid of windows and use an o/s that does not need to have 4 billion antivirus scaners running, or worry about spyware, adware, trojans, no defrag utils, and the rest of the garbage that goes with it

and i happily assist them to migrate and they are so much happier

jenkinbr

...becuase it gives me a really good reason to share Ubuntu with those running old hardware that vista barely (or doesn't) support.

Yeah, I'm still using my ooooooooooooooooooooold desktop. P4! :P
Ubuntu runs well in my desktop. I can even install Compiz and play Compiz with no lag. (Not too much visuals)

Same here, P4 1.5GHz w/ 512 Ram.

Upped the GFX card to a PCI GeForce 6200, so compiz runs beautifully with most effects.

Anyways, back on topic.

I love windows because they make a really strange thud sound when a bird flies into one.:)
