Hello.
I was planning to turn my notebook in a portable effect machine. Due to the great number of audio processing programs, both linux native and emulated throug wine, I guess that should be not much of a problem with Ubuntu Studio 9.04.
All I need is a suitable external soundcard. My laptop ONLY has USB. So that's a must. I was thinking of a M-Audio, because I also had a PCI Delta 10/10 that worked perfectly.
Is there an external USB soundcard, not too expensive, which has 2in/2out connections (and MIDI would not be bad, too) that works out of the box with Ubuntu 9.04?
Thank you very much.
