Linamp isnt that great, a better winamp alternative is audacious, it is in the repositories.

first hit on google

http://sourceforge.net/projects/linamp

Linamp is a full featured MPD (Music Player Daemon) client. It's written in C using GTK+. It's has support for Lyrics fetching, album art, media library, radio stream browser.

sounds alot like Amarok to me

Linamp: Development Status : 2 - Pre-Alpha

It's not even beta. Buggy. Problematic. Stay away!
