Hi
I'm thinking of getting a VPS from these guys

Ubuntu is one of their operating system options I take it I should go with 8.x?
Thinking of getting the 256mb option to start with.
The VPS is unmanaged so I take it I will have to secure the server myself. I'm planning to install Virtualmin via the installation script, I know it installs everything you need automatically but does it take care of mail server and security settings?
If not what steps should I look into taking after the operating system has been installed for me in order to secure the VPS?
I'm not a total newbi at this as I have managed to get ubuntu installed on a server before and get webmin working but it was a while ago and iv forgotten most of it.
