The other day i was customizing my desktop so it would only have one panel. A while after moving things around i noticed that my network tray/panel icon had disappeared. Has this happened to any one else on the pangolin? How should i go about getting it back?
Before i had realized the panel was being buggy, i added a power manager from the panel additions window. I did this to see if it was different then the one i had. Turns out, it is different and it fails work properly.
(recognize on/off battery events after coming out of suspend and refreshing battery life status)
The issue may be that i already had the traditional manager running when adding the new one. Regardless, the default gnome power manager is missing. Does any one know how to get it back without having to reset the whole panel? as seen here-http://lists.ethernal.org/oldarchives/cantlug-0610/msg00566.html (resets to default... i think)
i already posted a thread like this in the desktop environment section of the forums. There has been no replies so far and im wondering if i will have better luck here, plus find out if any of this is exclusive to the panp5
