Hello friends,

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04, and I'm very happy with it. However, when I listen to my mp3s (stored on my HD or online), I have some 'interruptions' in the playback. It sounds like a skipping CD or a 'remixed song' (lol). It gets really annoying. Does anyone know what I could do in order to get a regular playback?

Thanks for you attention!

I have those annoying interruptions as well. Not the whole time, but time to time I hear them when I see videos on youtube in firefox...

I had the same issues with my MP3s and flash video. However, I removed PulseAudio and now both work perfectly fine. I realize that it's "the future" and it should work (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=789578) but it trashed my audio, and makes flash skip. Truth be told, I didn't even think to test my flash playback until I saw chavash's post here.

See the directions on post #13 if you aren't sure of how to do this, and want to try removing PulseAudio:
