hey I'm brand new to ubuntu and I have just installed 8.04 hardy onto my 1.3ghz ibook. the only real problem I'm having so far is my cpu usage is always about 60%, usually around 100 even if no applications are running. When i typed 'top' into the terminal nothing jumped out as eating up my cpu. thanks in advance for any help!
