I just re-installed ubuntu after a few weeks break with windows 7 and I was wondering if there was any way to either convert my windows 7 install to a virtual one as a one time thing or even better just be able to boot the same install in a virtual machine and as a stand alone os. ubuntu is on my external 500gb drive and windows 7 is on my internal 140 gb drive if that helps.
key points:
can you convert an existing os install to virtual?
can you run an existing os install in a virtual machine without having to convert it somehow?
thanks for your time.
