I would like to know how I can burn things onto a DVD after I've ejected it and put the disk back in. I know in Vista there was the option to not close the CD/DVD. That worked fine b/c I sometimes edit movies and add .srt files after editing them. I also like to not waste the whole DVD after putting some files on it and then having to use a new disk for more burning.

I'm not sure about brasero, but certainly in k3b, it is possible to use multisession burns which should do what you want. I have never used it for that, I will admit, so don't know how well it works, but give it a try. k3b is so much better than brasero, in any case, so it is my default CD/DVD burner, in spite of my use of the standard gnome ubuntu.
