View Full Version : [ubuntu] Power and Network panel items disappeared
June 10th, 2009, 08:39 PM
The other day i was customizing my desktop so it would only have one panel. A while after moving things around i noticed that my network tray/panel icon had disappeared. On top of this i added a power manager from the panel additions window even though i all ready had one running. At the time i was wondering if it was the same power manager icon i already had. It turns outs its a different dysfunctional one that made the old working one disappear.
does anyone know how to get these back?

solved, power and network manager trays are bundled into the "Notification Applet" in the add to panel area.
if one trys remove the separation bar next to the power and battery icons, both of these icons will disappear, I failed to notice this initially hence my problem
