Squelch: Selectively filter out incoming game strings based upon client defined rules.

I don't think this is a very complex feature, and I had a not widely known client on windows that had this feature. I have yet been able to find a mud client that runs on Ubuntu and can squelch.

Tips? Help... anyone? This is rather distressing :-/

It does seem like it should be a widely used feature. I play MUD's from time to time and i have tried a few clients - MudMagic, Papaya, Marks MUD Client, Gnome MUD, Tiny Fuge and tintin++. These were all obtained through synaptic. Do any of them fit the bill? If not then perhaps you could set up Wine to run your Windows client, or hassle the Dev team of your favourite linux client to add that feature. Sorry if this didn't help at all.
