emu xboard&alsa??????

im new again and im trying to create a sound system like i have in windows.
using renoise,rosegarden etc.now in rosegarden w/jack i get no sound?
but i see the noise my xboard makes in the track?how do i get it to work?
any help w/midi,rosegarden,and other linux synths would be greatly appreciated!!!](*,)

ok got it working in renoise,but when it crashes(on exit)alsa goes down?
how can i reinitialize alsa,and what can i do to get sound in rosegarden?
