The TV is working great but it appears only to be full screen. I cannot figure out how to make the window smaller and move it around desktop. Also, there are no on screen controls from what I can tell, to stop picture, record, etc.

Have I missed something in setup? I'd like to have small TV window as I work on PC and be able to record live TV as I see it.

Tv appears full-screen by design, since mythtv is primarily designed for HTPC use. But there is a setting in the frontend setup to make the frontend open in a window. Check the user manual on the mythtv wiki at: http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/User_Manual:Detailed_configuration_Frontend#Appear ance

The onscreen commands (and most others) are handled through keyboard shortcuts. These key bindings are intended to be easily programmable into a remote, and may be reconfigured to suit your needs. The complete list of default bindings is also to be found on the myth wiki at: http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Keybindings

Cheers!

THank you, the keystrokes is exactly what I was looking for.

I did try, emphasize try, to tell the Myth setup that I have a HP Media Center Windows MCE remote and USB connected infrared receiver the the HP. Should I be able to control MythTV with this setup? What about a Windows Bluetooth MCE Entertainment keyboard and mouse?
