View Full Version : [ubuntu] Problem with scanner driver

I have an Acer 620s that is connected through a parralel port and has its own scsi card. It used to work on windows through mirascan but i dont know how to make it work on ubuntu. I tried Xscane image scanning program and it didnt find it please anyone can help me!!!!

I'm glad to help, buy you need to give the make and models of ALL the hardware, first. It's not fair without all the info.

Pentium 4 CPU (2.4gigHz CiderMill), 512 RAM, Asus P4pe-x mobo, 80+20+500 Gig HDD, AVI 64 mb, LG CD-RW, Scanner acer 620s.

plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz can any one help me i found that the problem that ubuntu doesnt have the driver of Acard scsci AEC-6710D which is used to connect the scanner plz if any one know how make work reply plz
