uninstalling gnome

i have ubuntu on a flash drive. How do i uninstall gnome and install kde 4.

FYI, it is possible to have both coexist nicely.

However, to answer your question:

To install KDE4 on ubuntu:


sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop

to remove gnome:

follow the "Remove Ubuntu" directions in this link:
