Xubuntu Menu Problem?

Hello, I have a iMac G3 and have recntly installed Xubuntu 6.06 onto it.I was playing with it for a while, loged out to do something, came back later, and now my Applications Menu won't open! I need a lot of help!

dude 6.06 is long past and no longer supported.
grab a updated version, stop wasting your time with a version that never worked right in the first place:
