Hello. I have a virtualbox and run a Win XP system under Intrepid. I have never managed to be able to write to my home folder FROM the VM, so I fiddled around with permissions to my home directory, which is mapped out in windows as drive Z, to be able to write to it, to no avail. But then, next time I booted and ever since, I get this message at the beggining, saying the home/drmc file or something, was being ignored, and that home should be owned by the user and instead had 644 permissions.

I have a read a bit about chmod and permissions but am a bit confused and don't want to mess up anything before asking for some advice.

Thanks.
