I have a friend who is willing to sell me his Mac Mini for less then it's worth.
1. I was wondering if anyone here uses a Mac Mini for a frontend only here?
The idea would be to put it in my daughters room (she's 4) and get her one of these. http://www.weemote.com/ and an ir reciver.
2. Is their a way that you can you map buttons to go to a specific recording group? Or to a video playlist? I.E. I have Dora, Spongbob episodes, along with a few movie's she likes recorded under her recording group. She would hit a button, and it plays all the dora epoisides, hit's another an it plays the spongebob, and so on.
3. Can or is their a way to limit the guide, and channel changing abilities to only the 5 "Cartoon Channels" in the area.
The reason i ask, is because i only have one TV in the house besides her's, and currently only mine is hooked up to MythTV, and has a dvd player and such,
