I installed 8.04 this evening, and attempted to install the graphics drivers from ATI 9.5. I received a message that I needed to activate proprietary drivers. I did that and it prompted for a reboot. When it came up I got a message it was running in low graphics mode due to missing drivers. I immediately went back to the Hardware Drivers and unchecked the box to enable. Rebooted still no fix. I have tried installing the drivers that are listed in Synaptic Package manager and still no luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
