I just added KxMame to my machine. It has a huge a list of roms but I can't play any of them.

I get This error when I try to play any of them.

You would need to actually have the roms in the rom folder configured in mame/kxmame.
We can't really discuss roms further here but there are plenty of resources on the interwebs for such things.

use sdlmame not xmame.
for a frontend, i'd recommend QMC2 or MAMEPGUI but there are others as well.

You have to place/download roms and/or bios files to your rom folder.

First you may want to remove the image from your post, as it may appear to others that you partake in piracy due to the nature of the files on your desktop.

The roms usually go in something like ~/.mame/roms this should be configurable.

But the error you are getting has to do with bios rom files, that are usually placed in the same folder as all of your other roms.
